I am a 43 year old, Sagittarius, living in Newburgh, Indiana. My former home was less than two miles from the harbor of Hampton Roads in Virginia but things change. I lived in the Hampton Roads area for a large portion of my life. But I have done my share of traveling as well. I like seeing other places, people and cultures. I have been very fortunate to make many friends along the way. I beleive I have found a Home for a while.

I am currently studying for Holy Orders within the Gnostic Catholic Apostolic Church at the Deocese of Evansville, Indiana where I am ordained to Deacon at Parish of St. Mary Magdalene.

I am also a member of a fraternal order called Ordo Templi Orientis, a Freemason (A. F. & A. M.), a Martinist and a member of Memphis-Misraim, which is a form of "High Degree" Masonary.

Now, some folks are, no doubt, saying "Wait a minute"! This guy is a member of various, mainstream and not so mainstream, fraternal/ esoteric/ magickal organizations and is a Christian Gnostic and Thelemite as well!! What the Fuck!!??!! So, I think an explaination is due to those folks.

I am a seeker, I do not beleive anyone can tell you a religious "truth" without making it into a religious "lie". I beleive we each have, what some call, a divine spark within us, a true piece of God (for want of better terms). This "God spark" talks to each of us in a manner that only the individual can understand. No One, other than the individual, can interpet that conversation!!!!!

So, from that stand point, Thelema is a form of truth because no one can interpet it's Holy books for another. By the same token, Gnostic Christianity is also a form of truth because we beleive that the true Knowledge comes only from God (however you may understand that term). The Hermetic and Masonic sciences give methods by which we can quiet the mind, rule our urges and our lives so we may listen to that voice.

If all of this true or not does not matter, it is my perception, not yours. But if it applies to you, feel free to borrow it if you wish.

I have a new cat named "Abby" (Because she is a church unto herself) who loves "all" equally, as long as they feed and stroke her. She is a long haired orange tabby about two years old. I got her from the Humane Society.
